Welcome to Church of the Risen Savior
In 1979, the former St. Joseph's Church in Rhineland was merged with Saint Martin’s in nearby Starkenburg, forming a new parish, the Church of the Risen Savior, named after Christ and His resurrection.
The beautiful Shrine of our Lady of Sorrows in Starkenburg is also associated with the parish.
Every year we welcome thousands of visitors to our Church and the nearby Shrine to attend Mass or the many events we hold throughout the year.
